Hi! My name is Diane Beninato. I’m originally from Tekamah, NE. After high school, I attended college at UNL, where I received my degree in Elementary Education in 2003. I taught 3^rd grade in Wahoo for three years and also enjoyed coaching volleyball and softball.

In December of 2005 I married Nik, a 5^th grade teacher at Cottonwood Elementary, and we moved to Omaha. This will be my 4th year at Hitchcock in 5^th grade! In May 2009, I received my masters in Educational Leadership.

Most of my time now is spent with our 17 month old son, Blake Nikolas Beninato. We are finishing a wonderful summer together of pools, storytime, walks, and naps!

In my “free time” I enjoy any kind of sports or exercise. Other hobbies include cheering on the Huskers!

I am looking forward to getting to know each of your children and sharing a fun year together!
