I'm happy to be the counselor at Hitchcock! I'm also the HAL Facilitator at Central Middle School. I'm a graduate of Iowa State University with a BS degree in Botany (I used to teach high school Biology) and I have a Master's degree in couseling from UNO.
My husband, Dan teaches 7th grade science at Millard North Middle School. We have three children: Aaron who is a first year medical student at the University of Cincinnati Medical School, Amanda who is a senior at Iowa State University and Kevin who is a junior at St. Albert High School in Council Bluffs.
We also have two cats: Eddie and Elliot. I coach the Dance Team at St. Albert and in my free time I like to exercise, clean my house and watch "Dancing With the Stars" and "So You Think You Can Dance"!
