Hello Hitchcock Tigers! All of you will get to work with me throughout the school year. I am the media and technology specialist here at Hitchcock. I have been teaching for 11 years in the Millard school district. Nine of those years were happily spent teaching in the classroom. I absolutely LOVE my job and the fact that I get to work with so many wonderful children! Working with grades preschool through fifth grades at Hitchcock has been one of the greatest privileges for me!
My husband and I have been married for 9 years. I have a 13 year old step-son who is in eighth grade this year. I also have a 4 year old daughter who just started preschool. Another important part of my family are my two boxer dogs. We love them dearly and spoil them rotten!
I am a Millard graduate! I attended Millard Public Schools from kindergarten on up through my senior year of high school. I couldn't have asked for a better learning experience. My undergraduate and graduate degrees are all from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
In my free time, I LOVE to read, read, read!! I also enjoy spending as much time as I can with my family and extended family.
I am looking forward to a great year of learning in the library!
